Description

Fenugreek Seeds, which is anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory. It is known to fight dandruff and impart smoothness and shine on the hair. However, Colins argues that in the case of formaldehyde-releasing preservatives, formaldehyde is released slowly and the skin has probably not evolved to deal with that. The lingeringformaldehyde might be toxic tothe Langerhans Cells that are important for the skin's defense system. Another potential issue is that formaldehyde-releasers might also release other things while reacting with amino acids in the skin that is probably the explanation why some people are not allergic to formaldehyde but are allergic to formaldehyde-releasing preservatives. These are all theories, far from proven facts, but we feel that there are some justified reasons whyformaldehyde-releasing preservatives andDmdm Hydantoin count as controversial. Though Meera is marketed as a herbal brand, I appreciate that they disclose the full ingredient list, unlike the infamous Biotique. Anyways, analyzing the ingredient list, it’s clear that the Meera Shampoo is not a Sulphate Free Shampoo. It has SLES as the second ingredient. Hydrolyzed Pea Protein, rich in amino acid is an excellent hair conditioning agent that boosts hydration, prevents hair damage, and reduces hair static as well.

Crafted with premium natural ingredients and developed under meticulous supervision, Meera Onion Shampoo is enriched with the nourishing properties of small onion and fenugreek, renowned for their ability to combat dandruff and its associated issues such as the flaky scalp, dryness, itchiness, and hair loss. Meera Onion Shampoo Ingredients When it comes to dandruff, I occasionally suffer from mild recurring dandruff. If I don’t take proper care of my scalp, I tend to get it more frequently. However, the Meera Anti Dandruff Shampoo has been able to eliminate mild dandruff I had quite effectively. Overall, I’m happy with the performance of this shampoo. It strikes a good balance between cleansing and conditioning abilities, cleaning well without drying out my hair and leaving it looking healthy and shiny.

Meera shampoo is enriched with shikakai and fenugreek, which strengthen the hair strands from within. They make the hair more resilient to damage and protect it from environmental stressors like pollution and heat styling. Adds shine and volume This onion and fenugreek infused shampoo improves circulation to the scalp and roots and hair growth Fenugreek is a natural hair conditioner that softens and detangles hair, making it more manageable. The amount offormaldehyde used in cosmetics either neat or throughformaldehyde-releasing preservatives is tiny. Probably that is why the Cosmetic Ingredient Review Broad concluded both in 1988 and in 2008 that DMDM Hydantoin is " safe as used in cosmetics". After using this shampoo, my scalp, and hair feel squeaky clean. This is due to the presence of a good number of surfactants, which was to be expected. Moreover, the after-effects of this shampoo are equally impressive. Once my hair has dried, it feels soft and voluminous, even without the use of a conditioner. The shampoo doesn’t strip the hair of moisture, instead, it nourishes it.

The other is the questionable ingredients. As I’ve said earlier, the Meera Shampoo has some potentially toxic ingredients which is not really good for one’s health. Onion Extract, which is an anti-bacterial. It has sulfur which stimulates hair follicles thereby promoting hair growth.

Our Products

Meera, a brand that is marketed as herbal, has caught my attention for their transparent ingredient list. This is in contrast to Biotique, which is infamous for not revealing its full ingredient list. However, upon closer analysis of the Meera Shampoo ingredient list, it is apparent that the shampoo is not sulfate-free, as it contains SLES as the second ingredient.
